Halvor Gregusson

We recently released version 1.0 of Yast Mobile, the time tracking application for tracking time as you go. This makes it easier to track time wherever you are.

Search for “Yast” in iPhone Appstore or Android Market.

Functionality:
- “play-stop” time tracking
- Multiple projects can be tracked at once
- Your 5 most recent projects shows as default
- Easy navigation in all your Yast projects
- Create new projects (this wil also create a project at yast.com)
- Make comments while tracking time
- Works with Google login for both Google and Google apps account
- Remembers your last login, so you don´t have to enter username/password each time

We are working on a version for Windows Phone 7

Want to use more products of Yast. Try Yast Calls to easily track the length of your conversations and attach them to projects. Great for invoicing or just figuring out how much time you really spend talking to your mother in law.

I cannot find your app in the Android Market, I only find “Yast Call Tracker”. I have a Motorola Flipout with Android 2.1 (and a small screen resolution). Is there another way to download this app? Thanks!

When first installed, I had the Yast screen open on my desktop and then installed the Yast app on my Android phone. When the timer was started on the phone, it also started on the desktop browser and only a few seconds behind. I was really impressed to see this integration. However, all further tests between PC and Phone have had the following problems:
    1. Timer often does not also start on desktop browser when started on phone.
    2. When it does start on both devices the timer is way off on the desktop.
    3. When phone screen turns off (power saving mode), the timer stops every time and goes back to just a few seconds, thus erasing all time.

As is, the app is of no use. Do I need to change some settings on the Phone?

    I have a Galaxy Vibrant S running Android 2.2

The iphone app will not let me login with Google credentials. It tries to load, fails, and returns to the login screen. Very frustrating. I love the browser tool and would like to get this running.

YOu really need to be able to adjust your starting time and or finishing time, otherwise I will always wait till i get back into the office to do my time.

      Thank you Adam.

This will most likely be implemented when we make the next version of the app.

Love love love. Finally tracking my time and computing hourly rates retroactively. Any plans for a simple iPad version?

I too would love an IPad app. It would be especially nice if it would permit you to adjust your start and finishing time and make note on projects that aren’t currently billing.

Definitely need a way to enter time manually – not just start/stop timer. Often, you enter your time spent at a “break point” in your day – not always real-time.

Nice to know about this time tracking however we had been using Replicon’s time tracking software which is an easy to use and fast to implement cloud based solution. Simple to use interface and can be used as an integrated product suite.
